O Lord, Let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the false words:

“Eat it and you shall not die”

and “Am I my brother's keeper?”

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the clearly the cries

of the poor, the weak, the lost,

the forgotten, the hungry, the thirty, the oppressed

………..

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the sounds

of the battles, the machine guns, the bombs,

the merciless missiles, the dying ,the death

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

I could hear the screams

of the abused children, the abandoned elderly,

the helpless victims, the mortally wounded,

the hopeless infested, the unjustly imprisoned

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the accusations:

of the lawless, the hatred, the deceits

the lies, the murmurs, the curses

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

I could hear the silence of the falsely accused,

the soundless sobs, of the murdered fetuses,

the mentally disturbed, the willing martyrs,

the sacrificial Lamb

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the voices

of praising, praying, hymes,

sighing, glorifying hallelujah

……….

O Lord, let me hear through your ears

Then I could hear the Words:

“Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven”

and “It is finished.”
