Lord, please make my day.

I face with anticipation
Whatever You have planned for me.

You have led me to this hour
sustained me by Your power
and made my day
   in time gone by.

May I walk today
obediently as a child
my hand in Yours
looking into Your face
for the grace
to make it through.

May all that I do
be for Your pleasure.
then measure Your strength to my need
and Your guidance for my way.
 

I am content to walk
according to Your sovereignty
and in the assurance
that You are still working on me
by making my day.
 
when evening shadows fall
and another moment of time
has slipped away
in the framework of Eternity

I know that I will trace
with joy and praise
Your grace, your love
Your wisdom and care
displayed so lavishly
within my life

because again today
You made my day!
